Last week I combined my August Break daily photo with the 52 Photos Project prompt and it worked really well for me, thus I have gone for the double purpose shot again.
This week's theme is black and white. I love the atmosphere of black and white very much, a mixture of moodiness and sophistication with just a hint of mystery. After much consideration I opted for a series of self portraits - a huge leap of faith for me. The thing is that my self confidence plummets into the deep depths when it comes to images of myself, however today I feel brave enough to challenge this perception.

you just have the most wonderful eyes. We really must sort out a photo shoot for you, how about you hop on a train next Tuesday and we do some shots and coffee in Birmingham?
Congrats on stepping outside your comfort level, that is always hard. I hate pictures of myself, hate them. You did a great job, you look very serene and mysterious in your photos.
love that you stepped out of your comfort zone with this series, it's wonderful. the middle shot with you looking straight at the camera, wow! your eyes are stunning.

you did a great job with these! i've been working on my self portraits this year too. it's hard to show so much face...you are doing better at that part than me :)
